Achieving greater efficiency and sustainability on construction projects starts with a system designed to stand the test of time. IMPs address stringent codes by providing superior continuous insulation while offering desired design flexibility. With R-values up to R-70, IMPs easily meet energy codes for every North American climate zone.
2505 Bruckner’s sheer size was one of the key considerations for architects, planners, and specifiers. The two-level facility has more than 100 loading docks and 125 spaces for box trucks, and it includes entrance and exit ramps for tractor trailers on both levels. The Lander County Recreation Center requested additional storage space during the construction process to meet the needs of its growing suite of programs. Given the center’s proximity to a nearby school, the fire-rated panels were utilized to meet building codes. 972 square feet of 24-gauge, 4-inch ThermalSafe panels were then incorporated to their facility.
The Sofidel Centerville, the first greenfield paper plant, utilizes nearly 500,000 square feet of Metl-Span’s 6-inch ThermalSafe insulated metal wall panels, achieving a two-hour fire rating while meeting building code requirements.
The waterpark’s facilities, situated atop the parking structure, called for a two-hour rating on the firebreak panels. ThermalSafe fire resistant panels were then installed on the ceilings of the four parking levels to meet local code requirements.
The Ark at JFK utilizes nearly 6,000 square feet of Metl-Span’s 7-inch ThermalSafe fire rated panels. The panels achieve a three-hour fire resistance rating, helping the design team meet today’s stringent fire codes while transforming the 60-year-old cargo facility to a 21st century one.
Metl-Span’s insulated metal panels checked all the boxes the owners of EFI had as they had high expectations moving into a new east coast headquarters.
