Cool Roof Rating Council

The Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC) is an independent, non-profit organization that maintains a third-party rating system for radiative properties of roof surfacing materials.  Metl-Span’s CFR roof panels with a Regal White Fluropon® exterior skin are CRRC licensed and meet the definition of “cool” roofing for low-slope roofing under Title 24, Part 6 of the California Energy Code in 2005.

Environmental Product Declaration

Metl-Span insulated panels are installed as a system over a new or existing structural steel support, such as wall or roof framing. Correct installation requires the use of butyl sealant and specifically designed fasteners, which are delivered with the panels.
